Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring an active MI RN license and strong Cerner experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital LDRPN (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum, and Nursery) unit
• Care provided across labor, postpartum, and special care settings
• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00pm to 7:30am, three days a week
• Work every other weekend is required
• Use of Cerner EMR with prior experience required
• Floating may be required to a nearby sister hospital
• Provide leadership and coordination in delivering quality, compassionate care to labor and postpartum patients and their families
• Online modules must be completed onsite and passed prior to the start date, typically one week before the assignment begins
• No blocked scheduling is allowed
• COVID vaccination is mandatory
• Request for time off must be submitted before the offer; any requests after the assignment begins will require manager approval
• Background check and drug screening must be completed promptly to meet firm documentation and results deadlines

Requirements

• Active MI RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery RN experience required, with 3 years preferred
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Current AHA BLS and NRP certifications required
• At least 1 year of experience using Cerner EMR
