Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring recent specialty experience and rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Assignment is for 13 weeks
• 3x12-hour shifts with day/night rotation (7:00am-7:30pm or 7:00pm-7:30am); shifts may be variable to meet hospital needs
• Traveler is expected to work at least every other holiday
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation
• Assignment duration at any Cleveland area location is limited to 18 months, with a 6-month waiting period before returning
• Travelers are scheduled using the Qualivis – Lotus system
• Holiday coverage is required for assigned holidays
• Two professional references are required for job consideration

Requirements

• Active OH or compact state RN license in hand
• 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required prior to travel assignments
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation
