Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Echo Technologist with 4 years of cardiac ultrasound experience and current RCS-CCI or RDCS-ARDMS certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care settings covering the OR, cath lab, and EP lab
• Primary use of GE Vivid E95 for resting and stress echoes and Philips CVX for TEEs
• Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM schedule
• No weekend or holiday requirements
• One night of on-call per week
• No floating required
• EMR system is Epic; prior experience preferred
• Duties include performing resting, stress, and transesophageal echocardiograms in a variety of clinical settings
• No new graduates will be considered
• Initial orientation includes a 2-day general orientation followed by department-specific orientation
• Facility is nicotine free
• Scrub color/dress code requirements not specified
• Local and travel candidates will be considered unless located within a 60-mile radius of the Great Bend campus

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• Minimum of 4 years of cardiac ultrasound clinical experience as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer
• Completion of at least 4000 echocardiograms
• Current RCS-CCI or RDCS-ARDMS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Graduation from a programmatically accredited cardiac ultrasound/echocardiography program or a health sciences diploma, associate, or baccalaureate program preferred
• Training or certification in IV and UEA contrast administration preferred
• Neonatal echo experience is not required but is a plus
• License required if applicable
