Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN with a current CA license, BLS, and ACLS for a critical need 12-hour day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a hospital emergency department setting
  • 12-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
  • 36 hours per week on a 13-week contract
  • Utilizes Epic EMR system
  • CEN, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications are preferred
  • Ability to recognize and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias is preferred
  • Local and travel candidates are offered the same rate
  • Contingent workers may not exceed two years on assignment without a 90-day break
  • COVID and flu vaccination may be required

Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required, must be current at time of consideration
  • Minimum 1-year recent full-time equivalent ER experience within the last 3 years
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course or PALS must be obtained within six months if not current
  • Last 4 digits of SSN and DOB required for consideration
