Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join our team, requiring Siemens and Epic experience and BLS/ARRT(R) certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care hospital CT unit
• Day shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts, Friday through Sunday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with actual start times varying between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM based on unit needs
• No on-call requirements
• Potential floating to a nearby affiliated clinic located approximately half a mile away
• Uses Siemens CT equipment and Epic EMR system
• Must be available to work one holiday per 13-week contract in rotation with staff
• Responsibilities include performing CT scans, administering contrast, and ensuring radiation safety
• Staff may be asked to float to a nearby clinic as needed
• Facility may call off one shift every two weeks
• All time off requests must be submitted at the time of application
• Must be willing to participate in scheduled holiday coverage rotation

Requirements

• Current BLS and ARRT(R) certification required
• ARRT(CT) certification preferred
• Experience with Siemens CT scanners and Epic charting required
• Demonstrated proficiency in preparation and administration of contrast media
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety practices
• Virginia state license required; any active state license accepted with emergency authorization available while awaiting permanent VA license
• Two references required for consideration
• First-time travelers will not be considered
