Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry Unit position in Alaska requiring an active AK RN license and recent telemetry experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital Telemetry Unit (SCU) setting
- Day shifts from 7:00AM to 7:00PM
- 13-week contract assignment
- No local candidates accepted; must live more than 50 miles from the facility
- Must provide care to telemetry patients in a monitored environment
- Required to provide at least one professional reference for consideration
- Holiday coverage may be required based on assignment schedule
Requirements
- Active AK RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in telemetry nursing
- At least 2 years of clinical experience is required for some regions, but for this posting, 1 year of recent experience in specialty is noted
- Current AHA or ARC BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIH Stroke certification required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
