Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a RN with current MA licensure for a Critical Care/ICU position requiring AHA-certified BLS and ACLS.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the Critical Care Unit (CCU) within a hospital setting
- Care for critically ill adult patients
- Day shift, 07:00 to 19:30, with a 13-week assignment
- Utilizes EPIC charting system
- Responsibilities include delivery of care through assessment, planning, and evaluation for critical care patients
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is expected
- Flu vaccine is required with no medical or religious exemptions allowed
- Local candidates must have a permanent residence 60 miles or more from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston
- Parking may incur a daily fee and is not validated at Boston locations
- First time travelers are accepted
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required; no pending or conditional licenses accepted
- Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing is required; BSN preferred
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Demonstrated strong technical, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
