Job Description

American Traveler seeks an experienced CT Technologist with ARRT (R)(CT), BLS, TMB, and trauma CT experience for night shifts and rotating call.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital CT department with 179 beds
• Team includes 3–4 techs on day shift, 2 in the evening, and 1–2 overnight
• Uses GE 64, GE 128, and Siemens 128 CT scanners
• Main procedures include stroke protocols (perfusion), trauma scans, coronary/TAVR CTAs, and biopsies/drains
• Rotating call required
• Primary schedule is Monday–Thursday, 9:30 PM–7:00 AM, with some variations including weekend nights
• Responsibilities include performing advanced and trauma CT imaging, stroke protocols, coronary/TAVR CTAs, and assisting with biopsies and drains
• Scrub attire is sage green top with black bottoms, or all black for contract labor; black or sage jackets permitted
• Team-oriented environment; positive and hardworking attitude highly valued
• Permanent positions may be available
• No work history gaps exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months

Requirements

• Active ARRT (R)(CT) certification required
• Active TMB and BLS required
• Registered CT Technologist required
• Minimum of 6 months recent CT experience within the last 6 months
• Trauma CT experience required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius; local candidates not accepted
• License required if applicable
