Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a night shift position requiring a VA or compact license and recent surgical services experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in a hospital surgical services department
• Operates as an OR RN during night shifts, Friday through Sunday (3x12's), from 18:45 to 07:15
• 13-week assignment
• Focuses on surgical procedures in the operating room
• Responsible for assisting in and circulating surgical cases in the operating room
• Will work as part of a multidisciplinary surgical team
• Flu and COVID vaccination cards may be required if stipulated in position details

Requirements

• Active VA or compact state RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent OR nursing experience
• Certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association and valid through first 30 days of assignment
• Must reside at least 65 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the last 12 months
• U.S. Social Security Number required for consideration
