Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a 13-week ICU assignment requiring a WI or compact RN license and AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting
• Shift is 07:00-19:30 with every other weekend and every other holiday coverage required
• May float to Neuro ICU and Burn ICU within the hospital as assigned
• Clinicians may be assigned Med/Surg or Intermediate Care (IMC) patients according to skill set
• Potential to float onsite within skills or to other sites within 40 miles as needed
• Will care for a range of critical care patients with varying acuity
• Assignment is 13 weeks in duration with potential extension opportunities
• May be floated onsite or to nearby facilities based on facility need
• Holiday and every other weekend coverage is required
• All positions are auto-offer and local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate depending on radius rule
• COVID vaccination is not required

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required
• Current AHA-approved BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke certification preferred
• CVICU or Neuro ICU experience preferred but not required
• Must provide primary source license verification and Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start
• US Social Security Number and US home address required
