Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position with night shifts and floating requirements in Milwaukee, WI.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
• Patient population includes critical care, with potential assignments in Neuro ICU and Burn ICU based on skill set
• May float to other ICUs and med/surg or IMC units as needed within skill set
• May be required to float to facilities within a 40-mile radius
• CVICU and Neuro ICU experience preferred but not required
• Patient assignments may include med/surg or IMC patients based on facility needs
• Must provide two professional references and a copy of driver’s license
• Local candidates are accepted but subject to a reduced pay rate depending on facility radius rules
• COVID vaccination is not required for this role

Requirements

• Active Wisconsin or compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Nursys license verification and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start
• US Social Security Number and home address required
