Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Interventional Radiology RN with neuro thrombectomy expertise and a current CA RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Interventional Radiology unit
• Care provided to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Day shift schedule of 4x10-hour shifts from 07:00 to 17:30
• On-call required for 10-12 shifts per schedule, including 3-4 weekend on-call shifts with overnight and rotating weekend coverage
• Procedures include angioplasty, neuro thrombectomy, TIPS, nephrostomy, stent placements, lung biopsy, central venous access, dialysis grafts, and more
• Uses Sunrise Allscripts, McKesson, and SBAR for documentation
• Participate in a wide range of advanced interventional and neurovascular procedures
• Be prepared for frequent on-call and rotating weekend duties
• Two recent professional references from a supervisor within the last 2 years are required for consideration
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Prior Interventional Radiology nursing experience with neuro thrombectomies is required
• Proficient in specialized IR procedures and procedural sedation monitoring
