Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, ARRT (CT) certification, and OBMI licensure for a night shift hospital assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital CT department with 2 Philips 128-slice scanners
• Covers ER, inpatient, and outpatient cases at a stroke-certified center
• Night shift schedule, Monday through Thursday, 16:00–00:30
• Weekend and on-call coverage required
• Floating within the hospital required, but not to sister hospitals
• EPIC charting system is used
• Assignments may be in a variety of hospital or clinic locations depending on departmental needs
• Duties include performing CT procedures under the direction of a board-certified radiologist and ensuring optimal completion of studies
• 24/7 department in a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital
• Scrubs provided for use in the operating room; no prints allowed
• Return candidates must have a 6-month separation before returning as a traveler
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required for assignment consideration
• Maximum of 2 weeks of requested time off will be considered at submission
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience required
• Current BLS and ARRT (CT) certification required
• OBMI license required; pending license accepted with proof of application
• NMTCB certification preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination required with no exemptions
• Experience with EPIC EMR required
• Two supervisor or manager references from the last 24 months required; see additional information for former employees
• License required if applicable
