Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring IVR and neuro IVR experience, as well as advanced certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in an Interventional Radiology unit in a hospital setting
• Four 10-hour day shifts per week (7:00 am–5:30 pm) with a rotating day off
• On-call one night per week (5:30 pm–7:00 am) and one weekend per month (Friday evening to Monday morning)
• Rotating holiday schedule is required
• Call back response required within a 30-minute radius
• Cerner EMR is used and experience is required
• Floating to other units may be required
• Responsibilities include supporting neuro IVR procedures, conscious sedation, ventilator management, and titration of medications
• Bi-weekly orientation provided
• Travelers may not request time off for holidays or holiday weeks; such requests may be considered onsite via RTO form
• Holiday coverage is mandatory as per the unit schedule

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license
• Current ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, and BLS certifications
• Must have experience in Interventional Radiology and Neuro IVR procedures
• Experience with conscious sedation, ventilators, and medication titration
• Must pass color blind testing
