Job Description

American Traveler seeks an experienced Operating Room RN with strong orthopedic experience and an active ME or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

Work in the operating room of a hospital setting
Full-time schedule, Monday through Thursday with 4 nine-hour shifts from 6:45 am to 4:15 pm
Call responsibilities are required
Circulating and scrub duties may be assigned
Focus on orthopedic surgical cases
Primary focus is working with orthopedic cases in the OR
Candidates must be able to fulfill call responsibilities as scheduled
Effective communication skills are important for successful team collaboration

Requirements

Active ME or compact RN license
Minimum of 5 years of operating room nursing experience
Strong orthopedic experience required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
Experience with both circulating and scrub roles
