Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg position in Michigan requiring a current MI RN license and at least two years of experience.

Responsibilities

Work in a Medical Surgical Combination Unit within a hospital setting
Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
13-week assignment
Candidates with a permanent address within 60 miles of the facility are not eligible
Travelers cannot have been perm staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
Cannot be employed in another full-time position concurrently

Requirements

Active MI RN license required
Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in a med/surg unit
Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
COVID vaccination documentation required
RQI certifications are not accepted

I have never worked anywhere that runs like this facility. They have very limited resources in the upper peninsula. The staffing is always short. The nurses normally do a lot of tech work daily very unorganized difficult to complete tasks because of the way the unit is run. The people are great, but I don’t see any improvement here for a very long time
