Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg position on a post-op surgery unit, requiring a compact or TN RN license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital setting on the 2 North Post Op Surgery Med/Surg unit
• Patient population includes post-operative surgical patients
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment length
• Responsible for providing direct post-operative care to surgical patients
• Adherence to facility protocols and patient care standards is expected
• Compliance with facility documentation and profile submission requirements is necessary

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Minimum one year of recent experience in Med/Surg nursing
• Current AHA or ARC BLS certification required
• Must provide US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be considered
• Professional reference required (two references for applicants licensed in FL or MO; one reference for other states)
