Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position in Colorado, requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least 3 years of PACU experience.

Responsibilities

Work in the PACU within a hospital surgical services department
Care for patients during pre-operative and post-operative phases
Three to four 10-hour shifts per week
Includes 1-2 days of call per week and 1 weekend of call every 4 weeks
Monitor and evaluate patient responses in all phases of pre- and post-operative care
Provide direct patient care as part of the surgical team
Must participate in training, education, and orientation for new procedures and protocols
Facility maintains the right to refuse any professional or terminate an assignment for cause

Requirements

Active CO or compact RN license
Minimum 3 years of PACU nursing experience required
Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
Must pass Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) check
Reliable personal transportation required due to rural location
