Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Outpatient Physical Therapist with at least 2 years’ experience and a current Colorado PT license for a weekday outpatient clinic role.
Responsibilities
- Position is based in an outpatient clinic setting
- Patient caseload includes a variety of diagnoses in a rehabilitation therapy setting
- Work schedule consists of four 10-hour days per week with variable weekdays
- Role is focused on increasing staffing to reduce patient wait times
- Main responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and educating patients and caregivers on home exercise programs
- The focus of treatment is improving patients’ strength, range of motion, balance, safety, and function
- No local candidates are accepted; candidate's permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the clinic
- Newly remodeled, furnished housing options are available for travelers within a half block of the facility, subject to availability
- All candidates must be able to provide a resume, completed skills sheet, proof of Colorado PT license, BLS certification, and proof of updated flu vaccination
Requirements
- Current Colorado PT license or compact PT license required; license is required if applicable
- Minimum of 2 years of physical therapy experience in an outpatient setting
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy required
- Active BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required
- Proof of annual Flu vaccination is required with no exemptions allowed
