Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring a current MA RN license and AHA BLS/ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Cardiac Cath/EP Lab of a hospital setting
• Adult patient population undergoing interventional cardiac procedures, including PCI, impella, balloon pump, device implantation, and ablations
• Unit has 2 procedure rooms
• Schedule is 4x10 hour day shifts, 07:00–17:30, with 7 on-call nights per month including at least one weekend
• Uses Epic Cupid EMR system
• Main responsibilities include providing nursing care during cardiac catheterization and EP procedures
• No floating required for this role
• Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston to receive a standard rate
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions permitted
• Free on-site parking and a new on-site call room are provided

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted MA RN license required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted)
• Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 4 years of Cardiac Cath/EP Lab nursing experience
• Proficiency in interventional cardiac care and Scrub experience required
• Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
• Proof of flu vaccination required; no exemptions allowed
