Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring a current MA RN license and AHA certifications.

Responsibilities

Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
Scheduled 36 hours per week, 3x12hr night shifts from 7:15pm to 7:15am
Every other weekend and rotating holiday coverage required
Uses Epic EMR system
Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston for standard travel rate eligibility
Rotating holiday and every other weekend schedule is mandatory
Parking may involve daily costs with no validated parking available; public transportation and parking lots are options
References required for consideration
Timekeeping is managed with UKG/Kronos system

Requirements

Active, unencumbered MA RN license required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted)
Current AHA-issued certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required
Primary source verification of nursing license via NURSYS and BON required prior to consideration
No minimum years of experience specified
Proof of flu vaccination is required with no exemptions allowed
