Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Outpatient Surgical Center Operating Room position requiring an active MA RN license and AHA BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Position is in an Outpatient Surgical Center within a hospital setting
Operating Room nursing with perioperative responsibilities
Shift is 3x8hrs days, 7:00am–3:30pm, totaling 24 hours per week
Epic charting system is used on the unit
Must provide nursing care for preoperative and postoperative patients in the outpatient surgical setting
Local candidates must live more than 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston to qualify for the standard rate
Parking may incur daily costs and public transportation options are available
Timekeeping is managed via UKG/Kronos system

Requirements

Active, unrestricted MA RN license required at the time of consideration; no conditional or pending licenses allowed
Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required
Operating Room nursing experience required
Primary source license verification through NURSYS and Board of Nursing required
Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions accepted
