Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring a compact or OH license and at least 2 years of recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care hospital setting on a 24-bed Med/Surg Telemetry floor
• Primary patient population includes medical and surgical patients requiring telemetry monitoring
• Patient ratio is typically 1:5, up to 1:6 during higher census
• Uses TruBridge - Evident EMR system
• Day shift position with three 12-hour shifts per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday coverage required
• Provide nursing care to adult medical and surgical patients with telemetry monitoring
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team across multiple shifts
• Adherence to standard hospital dress code is required
• Onsite orientation provided

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years' recent acute care experience in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Experience using telemetry equipment necessary
