Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with strong OR background and recent Epic experience.

Responsibilities

Position is based in a hospital setting with floating required to other campuses
Role requires working in the operating room as well as general X-ray duties
Schedule is 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM with possible extension to 4:00 AM
Weekend rotations are required, with potential for every other weekend or as needed
Some call responsibilities are expected
Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years is required
Responsibilities include providing X-ray imaging and assisting in OR procedures as needed
Must be available to work any day of the week with no block scheduling permitted
Bi-weekly orientations are held on Mondays
All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained in the application
Complete work history with bed count, EMR experience, and facility type is required
Holiday and flexible schedule coverage may be needed
Candidates should have a high level of flexibility and adaptability in their roles

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an X-ray Technologist
Operating room experience required
Must be willing to float to other campuses as needed
Prior Epic EMR experience within the last 2 years is non-negotiable
Reliable personal or rental transportation required, as public transportation is not accessible
Vehicles should have all season or snow tires from November to April
License required if applicable

however staff and travelers don’t do the same mount of work “protocol.” Staff don’t do anything on days and complain constantly.
