Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, ARRT or ARMRIT MR advanced licensure, and Philips MRI experience for a flexible travel assignment.

Responsibilities

Work in a teaching hospital environment
MRI department using Philips equipment
Requires flexibility with scheduling; minimum of 1-2 weekends per month and every other weekend is typical
No call required
Shifts may be scheduled Monday through Sunday, schedule will be adjusted based on unit and patient care needs
Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years is required
Must have reliable transportation, as public transportation is not accessible in the area
Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April due to weather conditions
Bi-weekly orientations available on Mondays
No block scheduling will be approved for any reason
All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
First-time travelers may be considered if all requirements are met

Requirements

Current BLS certification required
ARRT or ARMRIT MR advanced licensure required; license required if applicable
Minimum of 1 year MRI Tech experience
Experience with Philips MRI equipment required
Epic electronic medical record experience within the past 2 years
Prior travel experience preferred
Teaching hospital experience required

however staff and travelers don’t do the same mount of work “protocol.” Staff don’t do anything on days and complain constantly.
