Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of acute care experience and an active NE or compact license for a Level 2 trauma setting.

Responsibilities

• Position is in an acute care setting
• Level 2 trauma center environment
• All patient care is 100% acute care
• Day shifts are 8 hours in length
• Uses Epic EMR; prior Epic experience preferred
• 13-week contract assignment
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility, determined by the address on driver's license
• Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN employees of any CommonSpirit-associated facility within the past year
• Travelers may wear a conservative-style shirt (polo, oxford, turtleneck) with non-denim, casual pants; scrubs are not permitted
• Artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas
• Orientation includes 12 hours of training
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Returning employees must have not worked at any CommonSpirit facilities, including PRN, within the past year

Requirements

• Active Nebraska or compact (NLC) Physical Therapy license required at time of consideration
• License required if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year recent acute care physical therapy experience preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Two professional references needed: one supervisor from the last 12 months, and one peer or supervisor from the last 3 years, including employment dates and eligibility for rehire
• Copy of valid driver’s license required for consideration
