Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist with acute care and Level 1 trauma experience and proficiency on GE Revolution or Hi Def scanners.
Responsibilities
- Inpatient acute care setting at a Level 1 trauma facility
- Works with GE Hi Def or GE Revolution CT scanners
- Night shift from 6:30pm to 7:00am with every other weekend required
- Responsible for starting peripheral IVs on all outpatients
- No block scheduling available
- Role includes performing high acuity CT imaging in a Level 1 trauma environment
- Must be able to independently start IVs for outpatient scans
- Weekly orientation starts every Monday except holidays
- Pass/fail testing for Tele/ECG and Medication Test may be required
- Parking may cost up to $43 per day depending on location
Requirements
- Minimum of one year inpatient acute care and Level 1 trauma experience
- Strong peripheral IV insertion skills required
- Prior travel assignment experience required; no first-time travelers will be considered
- Experience with GE Hi Def or Revolution CT equipment required
- Massachusetts RT license required if applicable
- Must have current COVID vaccine with booster and flu vaccination (medical exemptions allowed)
- Must not have worked at any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility in the last 6 months; separated for at least one year to be considered
- Radius rule: candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility; locals considered case by case
