Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist for an evening shift assignment, with licensure requirements dependent on state.

Responsibilities

  • Work is in an imaging department specializing in MRI technology
  • 4-week contract assignment
  • Scheduled for 8-hour evening shifts
  • Covers outpatient and possibly inpatient settings
  • Candidates must have access to a car, as public transportation is not accessible near the facility
  • Evening shift assignment may involve variable workloads
  • Documentation for religious or medical exemption requests should be provided if required

Requirements

  • MRI Technologist certification or equivalent required
  • Proof of state licensure or application as applicable—license required if applicable
  • New York candidates must provide proof of pending NY license for consideration
  • Candidates for Vermont must apply for licensure within 24 hours of assignment commitment
  • Two recent professional references, one within the past 6 months
  • Complete work history including education and EMR experience

however staff and travelers don’t do the same mount of work “protocol.” Staff don’t do anything on days and complain constantly.
