Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an RN with EP and Cath Lab experience for a day shift position in the Electrophysiology Lab, requiring a CA RN license.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab within a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule: four 10-hour shifts per week, 7:00am to 5:30pm
- Call requirement includes 5 weekdays per week and 1 weekend
- Patient population includes individuals undergoing complex cardiac electrophysiology procedures
- Uses Maclab for documentation in the EP Lab
- Procedures performed include arrhythmia induction, cardioversion, AICD insertion/programming, tilt table study, and procedural sedation administration/monitoring
- Responsibilities include circulating, monitoring, and providing nursing care during electrophysiology procedures
- All requested time off must be submitted prior to the start of the contract
- Professional attire and adherence to hospital protocols required
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- EP Lab and Cath Lab experience required
- Experience with arrhythmia induction, cardioversion, AICD insertion/programming, tilt table study, and procedural sedation administration/monitoring required
