Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist for a Level II Trauma Center, requiring BLS, ACLS, and CCI RCIS certifications with at least 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a short-term acute care hospital within the cardiac catheterization lab
• Responsible for an average patient ratio of 1:6
• Patient population includes adults requiring cardiac catheterization procedures
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• On-call required, including STEMI call one weekend per month and five weekdays per month
• Holiday on-call coverage required
• Uses Epic EMR for documentation
• Scrubs provided by the facility
• Float within clinical scope as needed per facility policy
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Block scheduling requests considered at manager’s discretion
• Time off requests will be managed at manager’s discretion
• Local candidates are accepted

Requirements

• Current BLS, ACLS, and CCI RCIS certifications required
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
• Experience working in a cardiac cath lab setting
• License required if applicable
