Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT (CT) certification and 1+ year of acute care CT experience for a Level II trauma center using EPIC.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care hospital and clinic setting with a 200-bed Level II Trauma Center and Stroke Center
• Assignment in the CT department performing diagnostic CT scan procedures including 3D post processing for ortho, vascular, cardiac, and neuro cases
• Patient population includes all age groups and both hospital and clinic patients
• Uses CT equipment including Toshiba Aquilion One, Siemens Definition Edge, Vital Fx Workstation, Tera Recon, SyngoVia
• Charting and documentation are completed using EPIC/Radiant EMR and McKesson PACS
• Variable shifts with days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and potential overnight call as needed, typically consisting of four 10-hour shifts
• No floating to other units
• Duties include performing diagnostic CT scans, post-processing of images, and ensuring quality of exam images
• Occasional call coverage, weekend shifts, and holiday coverage may be required
• Gray scrubs required
• Two-week orientation provided on unit protocols and procedures
• All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
• This location does not accept local travelers with permanent addresses within 80 miles
• Previous employees must have an end date at least 6 months before consideration

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist in an acute care setting
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT (CT) board certification required
• BLS certification required
• Current CPR certification required
• Licensure in North Dakota by the North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board required (license required if applicable)
• Proficiency with CT scanners and knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and physiology
• Experience with 3D post-processing techniques preferred
