Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in a small facility, requiring C-section competency and a TX or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Labor and Delivery unit in a small hospital setting
• Involvement with postpartum, mother-baby, and L&D care
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
• Some weekends and call coverage required
• Block scheduling is allowed
• No floating required
• Uses Meditech EMR; prior experience preferred but not required
• Care for patients across postpartum, mother-baby, and labor & delivery units
• First-time travelers and local candidates are welcome
• Scrubs are not provided; any solid color scrubs are acceptable
• Must provide a copy of driver’s license and Social Security number for consideration

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required (may be pending at time of consideration)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience
• Competency in performing or assisting with C-sections
• Two professional references required for consideration
