Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Electrophysiology Technologist with at least 2 years of recent EP lab experience and proficiency with Epic EMR.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in an EP lab environment and may require floating across multiple campuses to similar units
• Adult cardiac patient population involved
• 4x10 hour day shifts per week, starting at 7:00 AM, totaling approximately 40 hours per week
• Variable call required
• Epic is used for electronic medical records and EP lab documentation
• Duties involve assisting with electrophysiology procedures and related cardiac interventions
• Must be available to float within the system as assigned
• Holiday coverage may be required per facility policies
• Returning employees may not be eligible if employed within prior 12 months
• RTO (time off) allowances are restricted to a limit of 1 day request off during holiday periods
• First-time travelers will be considered

Requirements

• Minimum of 24 months current Electrophysiology (EP) and/or Cardiac Cath Lab (CCL) experience
• Electrophysiology (EP) experience is required
• Active state license and certifications required if applicable
• CEPS or RCES certification preferred but not required
• Driver’s license is required for consideration
• Skills checklist specific to Electrophysiology/EP or Cardiac Cath/CCL required
• One supervisory performance evaluation or reference from within the last 2 years is preferred
• Epic EMR experience is preferred
