Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Med/Surg Oncology position requiring chemotherapy administration experience and OCN certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based Chemotherapy unit
• Day shifts from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday through Friday
• No evenings, weekends, or holidays required
• May be required to float onsite within skill set or to other locations within 40 miles
• Will administer chemotherapy to oncology patients
• Must be prepared to float to other units or facilities within 40 miles as needed
• Teamwork and adaptability are essential in this collaborative care setting
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required
• RTO (requested time off) should be provided with submission
• Local candidates are accepted but will receive a reduced pay rate due to a radius rule, which varies by state

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license with Nursys verification completed within 30 days prior to start
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Oncology OCN certification required for chemotherapy administration
• Experience administering chemotherapy is required
• Must provide a US Social Security Number and a US home address (not international)
• Copy of Driver’s License required for consideration
