Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a day shift Interventional Radiology position requiring an active IL RN license and proficiency in moderate sedation.

Responsibilities

Work in an Interventional Radiology department within a hospital setting
Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 6:30pm
Position requires participation in on-call coverage as needed
13-week contract assignment
Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
Provide clear explanations and instructions to patients and their responsible parties
Utilize clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition
Maintain accurate medical records
Engage in ongoing education and uphold Core Measure responsibilities

Requirements

Active Illinois RN license required
Minimum of 2 years RN experience
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required
Proficiency in administering moderate sedation required
