Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position with night shifts, requiring a TN or compact license and MS/Tele experience.

Responsibilities

Work in an Ortho/Spine/Med/Surg Tele unit
Night shifts, 3x12 hours from 18:30 to 07:00
Every other weekend is required
Floating to other units is required
No on-call responsibilities
Patient ratio is 1:7 on MS unit
Nurses are expected to support and participate in clinical education for nursing students
General orientation begins on Sundays with online CBLs
Scrub requirements are not specified
Hospital may cancel or call off one shift biweekly based on census without penalty

Requirements

Active RN license from TN or compact state required at time of consideration
Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Tele hospital experience required
AHA BLS certification required
MS/Tele and Med/Surg experience required
Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
First time travelers are accepted
