Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT X-Ray Technologist with at least 2 years of recent experience and ARRT (CT) certification to work 12-hour weekend overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in a hospital radiology department providing both CT and X-ray imaging services
• Weekend overnight shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:30pm to 8:00am
• Floating between departments and local locations within a 20-mile radius is required
• Patient population includes both inpatients and outpatients requiring diagnostic imaging
• Epic EMR experience is preferred
• Performs diagnostic CT and X-ray exams independently or as part of the radiology team
• Must be familiar with hospital policies and procedures relevant to imaging
• Return travelers who were previously employed as permanent staff must wait 1 year before being reconsidered
• Quarterly dosimeter (OSL/TLD) replacement and evaluation is required for radiation safety
• Scrub or dress code will follow hospital policy

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a CT X-Ray Technologist
• HS diploma or GED required
• New Mexico MIRTP Radiologic Technologist License – CT designation required if applicable
• Primary ARRT certification and ARRT (CT) certification required
• Current BLS certification required, completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Agency must provide a dose badge for monitoring radiation exposure
