Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN with at least 1 year of Med/Surg and telemetry experience for a night shift assignment in a medical surgical unit.

Responsibilities

Hospital setting on a Medical Surgical unit
Patient ratio of 1:5-6
May float to other Med/Surg units as needed
Night shifts, 3x12 hours, 19:00-7:30
Every other weekend required
Potential to monitor remote telemetry patients
Uses Meditech for charting; experience preferred but not required
Orientation provided every Monday
Locals and first-time travelers are accepted at the same rate

Requirements

Active AZ or compact RN license
Current BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience required
Telemetry experience required
