Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of Siemens MRI experience for weekend day shifts and ARRT MR certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in a short-term acute care hospital setting
• Assignment is on the MRI unit with an average caseload of 6-9 exams per day
• Saturday and Sunday 10-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Single MRI tech on duty with assistant support for exams, patient transport, and orders
• Uses Siemens MRI equipment
• EMR system is Epic and experience is required
• Floating may be required to facilities within the state per facility policy
• No on-call or weekday shifts
• Will perform all MRI exams and independently operate Siemens MRI scanner
• Work closely with an onsite assistant for exam preparation and transport
• Returning former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before being eligible as a traveler and cannot live within 50 miles
• All time off requests must be declared prior to offer; post-offer schedule changes may not be accommodated
• Minimal to no approved time off; excessive RTO may impact consideration
• COVID and flu vaccination may be required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist with Siemens equipment
• Current BLS and ARRT MR certifications required
• Washington state license required if applicable
• Epic charting experience required
• Must be able to work independently
• Pending Washington license accepted
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles are not eligible
• Must provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering at least 1 year of recent employment in a comparable specialty
• Social Security card and driver's license required for consideration
