Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Oncology position requiring PA or Compact license and chemo certification.

Responsibilities

Work in the hospital's Oncology unit
Typical staffing ratios are 1:6
Potential float to Willowcrest Infusion Center
Day shifts from 8:00 to 16:30, 5x8 hour shifts per week
Uses Cerner for charting, Cerner experience preferred
No holiday, weekend, or on-call requirements
Navy or blue scrubs are required
First time travelers are accepted for this position
Local candidates are accepted at a differentiated pay rate
A 50-mile radius rule applies to local candidate determination

Requirements

Active PA or Compact RN license in hand
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Chemo certification required
Oncology Nursing Society/Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONS/ONCC) certification required or must be obtained prior to start
Two years of oncology nursing experience required
ACLS and Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certifications preferred
