Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an ICU position in Illinois requiring current IL RN license and critical care certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting
• Shift is 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend (EOW) coverage required
• 13-week assignment
• Must provide verification of active licensure and current certifications prior to start, dated within 30 days of assignment
• Team-based ICU environment with varying patient acuity
• COVID vaccination required
• Holiday and weekend shifts may be required based on department needs
• Dress code and scrub color will be specified by the unit upon hire
• Local candidates accepted if residing in eligible states

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association required
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
