Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 36-hour day shift assignment requiring recent trauma experience and ARRT registration.

Responsibilities

• Hospital setting with trauma-level responsibilities
• Primary role in Computed Tomography with potential secondary duties in Diagnostic Radiology, Bone Densitometry, or Interventional Radiology
• Patient care for diagnostic and therapeutic radiologic procedures
• Schedule is Saturday, Sunday, and Tuesday from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Provide radiologic care under the clinical direction of radiologists or interpreting providers
• Maintain competency in at least two specialty areas as designated by department needs
• Active license must be maintained throughout the assignment

Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
• Minimum of 1 year hospital experience required
• Registered or registry-eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); must obtain registration within one year of hire if not currently registered
• New Hampshire Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy license, or must obtain within one year of graduation if a new graduate
• CPR certification required within three months of hire and maintained bi-annually
• Must have recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years
• BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• No local candidates allowed; must live at least 75 miles from the facility
