Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab unit covering both pre/post-cath and EP care, requiring at least 2 years of relevant experience and a current GA or compact RN license.
Responsibilities
- Work in the ARU unit supporting pre/post procedures for both cath lab and EP departments
- Hospital setting with floating required within facility and scope of practice as needed
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- Day shift schedule with four 10-hour shifts from 6:30 am to 4:00 pm
- No first-time travelers accepted for this unit
- Travelers may be required to float within the facility based on staffing needs
- If one major holiday falls during assignment, the traveler is expected to work it; if two, both must be worked; if three, the traveler must work two
- Maximum 7 days of requested time off allowed, except during first week
- No blocked scheduling allowed
- Former perm or PRN employees must be away from all related facilities for at least one year to be eligible
- If returning to a related system after a facility restriction, a successful assignment outside that system is required first
- Scrub and dress code details will be provided at orientation
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
Requirements
- Active GA or compact state RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent cath lab or related experience required
- Two supervisory references (manager or above) required for consideration
- Must have experience in pre/post-procedure care for cath lab or EP departments
- Must be fully compliant by the start date due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
