Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med Surg/Telemetry position requiring a NH or compact license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Med Surg/Telemetry unit
• Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Care for a general adult medical-surgical and telemetry patient population
• This position does not accept local candidates; must reside outside a 50-mile radius
• Documentation required includes completed application, skills checklist, state licensure verification, and copies of current certifications
• U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration

Requirements

• Active NH or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med Surg/Telemetry RN experience
• Must provide at least one professional reference (two if licensed in Florida or Missouri)
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required with no expiration within 30 days of contract start
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
