Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience, ARRT (CT) certification, and BLS for a 13-week assignment in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care environment within the Xray/CT department
• Imaging modalities include Xray and CT procedures for general radiology and portable studies
• Shifts are 4x10 hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9am-7pm, with weekend days from 7am-5pm on a rotating every third weekend schedule
• Potential requirement for holiday coverage during the assignment
• No on-call responsibilities are required
• Uses TruBridge (Evident) as the EMR and various imaging equipment including Toshiba CT, Carestream DR, Canon DR, and Fuji PACS
• Scrub color is black
• Orientation is not standard for this unit
• Travelers may not return to any WVU location without a 2-year break after working there
• Cumulative travel time with WVU may not exceed one year in total before a required 2-year hiatus
• Must provide documentation as requested, including references and certifications

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent CT technologist experience
• Active ARRT, ARRT (CT), and BLS certifications required
• Radiation badge must be provided by the traveler’s agency
• Driver's license required for consideration
• License required if applicable
• Must comply with a 50-mile radius rule for eligibility
• Disclosure of background history is required at time of consideration
