Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, current ARRT certification, and IV start skills for a 13-week night shift contract.

Responsibilities

• Work in a CT technician role within a hospital setting
• 4x10 hour night shifts from Monday through Thursday, no weekends
• Patient care includes responsibilities typical for CT/Rad Techs
• Use of Cerner EMR system
• Must comply with a 75 mile radius rule, with some consideration for candidates between 75-100 miles from the facility
• Scrubs are not provided; khaki and hunter green attire required
• Candidates must have a permanent address more than 100 miles from the facility; applicants between 75-100 miles will be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Former permanent employees must have a 2-year gap since last employment to be eligible
• Current employees of the associated health system are not eligible for travel assignments at this location
• Pre-employment modules averaging 8 hours must be completed prior to start
• Orientation occurs every other Thursday

Requirements

• Current ARRT certification required
• WV state license or compact license required; pending license may be acceptable if applicable
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience
• Proficiency in IV starts required
• Two manager or charge references from the past 2 years required for consideration
• Travel experience preferred
• License required if applicable
