Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift CICU position requiring a valid NC or compact license and at least one year of recent CICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CICU) within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Care for critically ill cardiac patients in a high-acuity environment
• Provide advanced nursing care for complex cardiac and critical care patients
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary cardiac care team
• Night shift coverage required for the duration of the assignment

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Minimum of one year recent CICU experience
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS from AHA or ARC (must not expire within first 30 days)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• No work history gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility—no local candidates accepted
• U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• At least one professional reference required (two if licensed in Florida or Missouri)
