Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist (OR Tech) for a day shift Operating Room position at a major medical center in Portland, ME, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Hospital-based Operating Room (OR) setting
Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
13-week contract

Requirements

ME RN license or Compact license required — note: this is a Surgical Tech role; applicable state certification or credentials required
Minimum 2 years of Surgical Technologist / OR Tech experience required
Driver's License required for consideration
2 professional references required for consideration
SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

Candidates who have worked at any facility within this health system in the past 12 months must disclose this at the time of application
Float policy: candidates may be required to float between facilities within a 25-mile radius as needed
Candidates residing within 90 miles of any facility in this health system (including residents of Maine or New Hampshire) are considered local and are subject to a different bill rate
Local travelers are not eligible for contract renewals or extensions
Travel pairs or groups will not be considered for this position
