Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist (OR Tech) for a day shift Operating Room position at a major medical center in Portland, ME, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

  • Hospital-based Operating Room (OR) setting
  • Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • ME RN license or Compact license required — note: this is a Surgical Tech role; applicable state certification or credentials required
  • Minimum 2 years of Surgical Technologist / OR Tech experience required
  • Driver's License required for consideration
  • 2 professional references required for consideration
  • SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Candidates who have worked at any facility within this health system in the past 12 months must disclose this at the time of application
  • Float policy: candidates may be required to float between facilities within a 25-mile radius as needed
  • Candidates residing within 90 miles of any facility in this health system (including residents of Maine or New Hampshire) are considered local and are subject to a different bill rate
  • Local travelers are not eligible for contract renewals or extensions
  • Travel pairs or groups will not be considered for this position
