Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring a TN or compact state license and recent Med/Surg experience.

Details

• Position is on the Med/Surg unit of a hospital setting
• Shift is 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Unit cares for typical medical-surgical patient populations

Requirements

• Active RN license in Tennessee or a compact state required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
• At least 2 years of clinical experience preferred for some regions
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• No work history gaps of 90 days or more within the last 12 months
• Candidate must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
• US Social Security Number and Date of Birth required for consideration
• Professional reference: one required for most states (two for Florida or Missouri)

• Provide direct and comprehensive care to adult medical-surgical patients
• Position does not accept local candidates within the 50-mile radius
• Experience with standard Med/Surg duties and hospital protocols is expected
