Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele Float Pool position in California requiring a current CA RN license and two years of specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital setting within the Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool
• Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week from 18:45 to 07:15
• Float pool assignment with rotations in MS/Tele, with potential to float to Med/Surg or other appropriate units
• Charting is performed using Paragon EMR with training provided
• Local candidates are accepted at the same bill rate
• Floating may be required in accordance with clinical experience and facility policy
• Orientation is provided when floating to a new unit
• All requests for time off must be submitted with initial application and may not be approved if submitted after offer
• Holiday coverage may be required
• First-time travelers are accepted

Requirements

• Active CA RN license in hand; EMSA not accepted
• Minimum of two years' experience in Med/Surg Tele specialty required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Background must be clear of DUI hits
